And now for some stories from the animation, (any factual misunderstandings are mine) Big Bang to Space Debris. There are several theories as to how the universe may have formed and what its ultimate fate might be. The Big Bang theory suggests that the universe started life as extremely dense, exploded, then started expanding rapidly, resulting in the universe we inhabit today. It is believed that the universe is still expanding but debate occurs as to whether it will keep expanding indefinitely or if it will contract to eventually implode in a Big Crunch.
