Abstract

A series of drawings explored possibilities and new techniques of drawing using chemical processes, magnetism combined with salt and other objects on paper with techniques connected to traditional Asian painting. Magnetic Islands was an inivited Group show by RMIT curated by Professor Peter Ellis and Stehen Gallagher and part of the Drawing Out Conference London. In the context of this exhibition I fused Asian and European knowledge, which I could study in Korea.I present a work from a series of experimental drawings in which connect metal with ink and magnetik metals .Magnetic Islands was an international exhibition of contemporary drawing. Artists from nine countries exhibited over 56 works.
