Abstract

This paper highlights the main findings of an integrated and ubiquitous remote wireless based vital signs monitoring solution as trialed in a clinical setting. Results demonstrate the feasibility of utilising a Wi-Fi based solution to monitor early-warning signs such as impedance-based respiration rate changes, heart rate/ECG events, temperature, and motion analysis in a clinical setting and act as an early warning system. © 2012 IEEE.
