Abstract

The paper was presented at the conference and has been published, both abstract and powerpoint presentation, on the EFYE website. This is open source and can be read by anyone.This presentation explored provision of non-academic support to all students in Year Zero cohort, such as mentor programs which target ‘at risk’ or struggling students, which offers a formalised approach to social interaction employing Icebreakers, peer support groups, extended induction, field trips, peer mentors.Abstracts were double-blind peer reviewed. Papers will be peer reviewed for inclusion in the published journal. I will be peer reviewing another article for inclusion.
