Abstract

A microplate DPPH assay for antioxidants is described and subjected to a manual path-length correction to yield results comparable to measurements using 1-cm spectrophotometer. The described method is important for quality control for microplate assays and follows on from principles first illustrated in a previous paper (Bolanos de la Torre et al. 2015).
