The overarching aim is to identify and evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of interventions delivered in the context of adult palliative care day services (PCDS). Our specific objectives are:• To identify and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical, psychological, social and spiritual interventions offered to adults attending UK palliative day care services (PCDS)• To investigate differences in effectiveness across different types of interventions• To estimate the relative cost-effectiveness of the interventions• To explore the barriers and facilitators of the implementation and uptake of the interventions.
