Abstract

In this chapter, we present a method for auditory feedback of sensorimotor rhythms during motor imagery using a brain-computer interface (BCI) framework. We present an overview of results of four patients who have disorders of consciousness, showing the ability of the systems to detect differences in binary motor imagery related rhythms and how feedback may influence a patient’s ability to modulate sensorimotor activity over multiple sessions of training with real-time visual and auditory feedback.
